Alexander B. Hall, retired farmer, died at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. B.F. Hall, 505 east College street, at 7 o'clock Sunday evening of paralysis following a two weeks illness. The deceased was born four and one-half miles north of Ladoga, the son of Harrison and Catherine Hall. He was a retired farmer and had made his home with Mrs. Hall for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist church and the IOOF lodge at Darlington. Surviving besides the sister-in-law, with whom he made his home, are three nieces, Mrs. W.B. Luster, Mrs. Minnie Stout, Mrs. Ida Wingert, and two nephews, Verde Vere Hall of Kansas City and Perry Hall of Paris, Ill. Funeral services will be held at the Profitt and Sons funeral parlors at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. J.H. Wilson will be in charge, with burial in the Harshbarger cemetery. - kbz

Ladoga, March 1 - Last rites were conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Gottschall funeral home in Ladoga for Anderson Hall, who died Saturday. The rites were in charge of Rev. W.J. Helsey and burial was in the Harshbarger cemetery. Mr. Hall died at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home four and a half miles northeast of Ladoga. His death followed a two years illness and was caused by the infirmities of old age. Mr. Hall, 75, was born Oct. 28, 1860, northeast of Ladoga, the son of Samuel Q. and Martha Hall. He was never married. The deceased, a member of the I.O.O. F. lodge had lived on the same farm for sixty five years. Surviving, are a brother, Ben Hall, and a nephew, Glenn Hall, both of whom lived with the deceased, and the following nieces and nephews; Allie Hall, Mrs. Ray Chamness and Earl Hall, all of New Market, and seven great-nieces and three great-nephews.
